On July 3, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a special meeting on the high-quality development of the photovoltaic industry. Leaders of leading enterprises
attending the meeting collectively made public statements on strengthening industry self-discipline in response to the current issue of low-price disorderly competition in the market, sending
positive signals for regulating market order.
In the international market, the recent move by the United States to impose tariffs on multiple regions including the European Union, South America, and East Asia is triggering a restructuring
of the global photovoltaic supply chain. Industry analysts believe that this change will have dual impacts: on the domestic market front, photovoltaic enterprises may test market acceptance by
slightly raising prices to gradually ease the pressure of low-price competition; on the international market front, tariff barriers will force overseas buyers to turn more to China for photovoltaic
product procurement, further consolidating the export advantages of China's photovoltaic industry.
Considering both domestic and international factors, institutions predict that the prices of the entire photovoltaic industry chain are expected to remain stable in the third quarter of 2025,
with some segments likely to show a slight upward trend, and the industry will gradually move towards a path of high-quality development.
